Piglin brutes are hostile mobs that spawn with bastion remnants upon generation. When killed by a player or a tamed wolf, they will drop 20 experience and have a small chance to drop their axe.

Like piglins, piglin brutes are hostile towards wither skeletons and withers, are not immune to fire and lava damage, and zombify if they are moved to the Overworld or the End. If a player hits a piglin brute, it will aggravate all nearby piglins and piglin brutes, regardless of whether the player was wearing gold armor or not.

Unlike piglins, piglin brutes cannot barter, will not be distracted by gold, and do not retreat. They will always be hostile towards players, regardless of whether the player was wearing gold armor or not.
