Frog

Passive Mob
Health Points: 10

Frogs are passive mobs found spawning in swamps and mangrove swamps. When killed, they will drop  1-3 experience if they were killed by a player or a tamed wolf. Tadpoles will not drop anything.

Frogs can jump up to 8 blocks high, and take 10 health points less fall damage than most other mobs. Frogs move much faster in water, and will not drown.

Frogs will follow a player holding slimeballs within a six-block radius, and if two frogs are fed slimeballs by the player, they will enter love mode and breed, and the player will be rewarded with 1-7 experience. One of the frogs will become pregnant, and will search for a block of water to lay frogspawn on, which will eventually hatch into tadpoles. Those frogs will then not be able to enter love mode again for 5 minutes. It will take 20 minutes for the tadpole to grow up into a frog. The growth process can also be sped up by feeding the tadpole slimeballs.

Tadpoles will have 6 health points until they grow up, and, unlike frogs, will be attacked by axolotls. They can also be picked up and moved using a bucket of water.

There are three different types of frogs: temperate (orange), warm (white), and cold (green). The color of a frog is determined by the biome the tadpole grows up in. For example, some temperate biomes are beaches, forests, and swamps, some warm biomes are deserts, savannas, and jungles, and some cold biomes are frozen rivers, cold oceans, and snowy plains.

Frogs will attack small slimes and small magma cubes, and when they kill a small magma cube, it will drop a froglight, a block that will let emit light when placed. The type of froglight it drops is determined by the color of the frog that killed it. Orange frogs will produce an Ochre froglight, white frogs will produce a Pearlescent froglight, and green frogs will produce a Verdant froglight. A small slime that is killed by a frog will always drop exactly one slimeball.
