Pillager outpost are structures that can generate in plains, cherry groves, deserts, savannas, taigas, snowy plains, meadows, groves, snowy slopes, jagged peaks, frozen peaks, and stony peaks, as well as snowy taigas and sunflower plains in Bedrock Edition. Pillagers will constantly respawn around the structure, and apart from the main watchtower, they will also generate with a number of other, smaller structures around them, such as log piles, tents containing pumpkins and a crafting table, target dummies, and cages that can contain iron golems or allays.
The watchtower will generate with one loot chest, which will most commonly contain dark oak logs, crossbows, bottles of enchanting, wheat, carrots, and potatoes. More rarely they will contain arrows, string, tripwire hooks, iron ingots, and enchanted books. It also has a 25% to generate with two copies of the Sentry armor trim.
